We recently submitted an application for permit of a guest house on. the job
address listed above and was returned zoning comments that the guest house
FFE needed to be 18inches above the center line of road.
This is an existing detached garage that we are turning _half into the guest
dwelling and would mean bringing up the current finished floor 16inches. To do
this would require extensive unforeseen costs in concrete/fill. plus the raising of
all the current lintel beams already in place.
We are asking if you could please consider a relief of code for this project.
