COMPLETELY SEALTHE ENTIRE END OF THE WOOD BUCKS WITH SEALANT TO RESTRICT THE PASSAGE OF LIQUID THROUGH THE CUT ENDS AND THE ENTIRE EXTERIOR FACE AND RETURN SURFACE OF THE BUCK SHALL BE COATED WITH A LIQUID APPLIED WATER RESISTIVE COATING / SEALANT. 4. PROVIDE PAN FLASHING AT THE SILL OF WINDOW AND DOOR OPENINGS. PAN FLASHING SHALL BE SEALED OR SLOPED IN A MANNER TO DIRECT WATER TO THE SURFACE OF THE EXTERIOR WATER RESISTIVE BARRIER FOR SUBSEQUENT DRAINAGE. INCORPORATE PAN FLASHING AT HEAD AND SILLAS WELL. PAN FLASHING SHALL BE CORROSION RESISTANT. (OPTIONAL, NOT REQUIRED) 5. PROVIDE CONTINUOUS 3/8" BEAD OF SEALANT ON WINDOW / DOOR FRAMES AT ALL PERIMETER ON FRONT AND BACK SURFACE PRIOR TO WINDOW / DOOR INSTALLATION. 6. AFTER WINDOW / DOOR INSTALLATION PROVIDE FOAM SEALANT BETWEEN THE BUCK (OR PRECAST SILL) AND THE WINDOW / DOOR TO ENSURE A WATER RESISTANT INTERIOR AIR SEAL AROUND THE ENTIRE PERIMETER.
