This letter is to address the re -roof of a 1-story residence home plus a 1-story detached
garage at the address above. The proposed roofing is Sunlast Metal Key West Series 5-V Crimp.
Product approval FL21423.7. This replaces the shingle roofing. This will be used over Self
adhering Poly -Glass TU-Underlayment. FL5259-R27.
Based on my review of this project, including the product approvals and loads for the metal
roofing I have found this to be in compliance with the F.B.C. 2017 (6th Edition) These products
meet or exceeds the roof design pressures as stated below:
Zone 1: +26.7 / -42.4
Zone 2: +26.7 / -73.8
Zone 3: +26.7 / -144.6
Any plywood found to be damaged shall be replaced and attached similar to the existing roofing ma-
terial.
