FOUNDATIONS All .foundation reinforcing to be supported on wire supports and placed per ACI standards prior to pouring concrete. Maintain 3 inches clearance for all rebars where footing concrete is placed in contact with soil. Development and lap splice lengths shall be in accordance with ACI318. Prior to placing concrete all reinforcing steel shall be free of rust scale, or any foreign material. Detailing of reinforcement shall be in accordance with ACI 318-08. Based plates and anchor bolt quantity and diameter in accordance to Metal Building Manufacturer 4. HELICAL PILES All helical piles are manufactured by Cantsink Manufacturing, Inc. Each helical pile shall be install at the approximate location as depicted on these drawings and to the minimum installation torque and allowable capacity shown on these plans. All battered piles shall be installed at degree shown in the pile cap details All helical piles must reach a minimum embedment depth of fifteen feet due to the uplift loads All helical pile leads and apporturiances shall be hot -dip galvanized per ASTM A1.23 . Bolt and nuts shall be zinc coated. Helical pile caps to be bolt -on with two (2) A325 3/4" bolts on pile caps of axis line 1 through 6, helical pile caps on line axis 7,8 and 9 can use only one (1) A325 3/4" bolt. Floor plans dimensions are taken from structural drawings prepared by AVCON, Inc. For elevation of top of footings refer to AVCON, Inc. structural drawings. 5. MISCELLANEOUS The Engineer will not be responsible for the contractors means, methods, techniques, sequences, or procedures of construction, or the safety precautions or programs incident thereto, and the Engineer will not be responsible for the contractors failure to perform or furnish the work in accordance with the construction documents. The Engineer will not be responsible for the acts or omissions of the contractor, or any sub -contractor, any supplier, or of any person, or organization performing, or furnishing any of this work. Methods, procedures and sequences of construction are the responsibility of the contractor. The contractor shall take all necessary precautions to maintain and 'inure the integrity of the structure at all stages of construction.
