COMMENT: All Stairs: Maximumi riser height is 7 inches. Minimum tread depth is 11 inches. I RESPONSE: Egress stairs are designed with 7 risers and 11" treads as required by code. Stair at roof to elevator equipment room has been revised to meet egress stair requirements. Please refer to sheets A6.1, A6.2 and A4.6 for revised drawings. 4. COMMENT: The 2-hr stair enclosure indicates window openings. There shall be no window openings in the 2-hr stair enclosures. RESPONSE: Will comply. Please refer to revised sheets A1.2, A1.3, A1.4, A1.5, A2.1, A4.4, A4.5, A6.1, A6.2, and A7.2. 7. COMMENT: The Fire Control Room shall be separated from the remainder of the structure by not less than 1-hr construction. i RESPONSE: Fire Control room to be 1-hr rated with 45 minute door.
