The following is in response to the St. Lucie County Building Permit Review Comments. This information is being
submitted for review and consideration.
BUILDING
Item No. 1: Submit (3) sets of the Wood Truss Layouts from the Truss Manufacturer reviewed and
approved by the Design Professional of Record. The Wood Truss Layout approved by the
Design Professional of Record will be submitted for approval prior to installation of the
Trusses.
Item No. 2; Submit (3) sets of "Original Signatured" Engineered Truss Engineering Cut Sheets reviewed
and approved by the Design Professional of Record. The Original Signed Truss Engineering
Cut Sheets approved by the Design Professional of Record will be submitted for
approval prior to installation of the Trusses.
Item No. 3: All Exterior Lot, Order Confirmation Screen and Wall Signage will require separate permits. All
Accessory Structures must be designed to a minimum of 150 mph I Exposure C as Risk I
Structures. All Signs 4-4-4 attached to the Building must be designed to the same Wind Speed
as the Building (161 mph, Exposure C). See FBC 17609.1. The Menu Boards and Order
Confirmation Units designed for Wind Speed 150 mph - Exposure C - Risk I will be
submitted under separate permit. The and Wall Signage designed for 161 mph -
Exposure C- Risk 11 will be submitted under separate permit. Sheets A-1.3a, A1-3.b and
Al-3e have been removed from the Building Permit Package.
Item No. 4: Dumpster Enclosure will require a separate Permit. The Dumpster Enclosure will be
submitted under separate permit. Refer to the Civil Engineering package for additional
information and details. Refer to the attached signed & sealed sheet A-1.5 (Dumpster
Enclosure Plans & Details) which is being added to the set.
Item No. 5: Submit as a separate Permit - Clearance Bar must be designed to 150 mph Wind Speed
Exposure C, not 90 mph, per ASCE7-10 not 05. The Clearance Bar designed for Wind
Speed 150 mph -Exposure C per ASCE7-10 will be submitted under separate permit.
Sheet A-1.3c has been removed from the Building Permit Package.
Item No. 6:, Submit (3) "Certification for Design Load Compliance" sheets in original format signed, sealed
and dated by your Design Professional of Record. Blank copies are available on our web site.
Three copies of the completed "Certification for Design Load Compliance" are attached.
Item No. 7: Product Affidavit on A-1.2 must identify the o.c. spacing for all fasteners. The fastener spacing
for the Single Ply Roofing, Standing Seam Roofing, Roof Hatch and Bahama Shutters is
shown on sheet A-1.2. The fastener spacing for the Storefront Doors, Storefront
Windows and Hollow Metal Door/Frames is shown on sheet A-13b (Door & Window
Fastener Info.) which is being added to the set.
PLUMBING
Item No. 1: Please show size of Grease Interceptor per FPC-2014 Table 1003.3.4.1. The size of the
Grease Interceptor is shown on Keyed Note #1 on Sheet P1-1. Please the attached
updated sheet P1-1 (Plumbing Floor Plan).
MECHANICAL
Item No. 1: Please furnish manufacturer's cut sheets for hood with complete details and showing hoods
meeting UL 710 or furnish engineered drawings showing hoods meeting the requirements of

section 507 of the 2014 Mechanical Code. The Cut Sheets requested are shown as d tails
on sheet M-3, M-4 and M-5. The UL 710 Listings are, also shown on the top left (Br filer) .

Item No. 2: Please provide three new sets of .Mechanical calculations for Burger King, removing all
