RE: Finished floor waiver
Dear Mr. Yonta:
Please accept this letter in response to your email request received August 8, 2018 to waive the
finished floor elevation of 18" above the crown of the road The waiver request is for an addition
of a storage room and hall within existing garage for a single family residence at 9700 Fairwood
Ct, Port St Lucie.
Pursuant to Section 7.04.01(C-3) ofthe St Lucie County Land Development Code, the Planning
and Development Services Director has the authority to grant administrative relies; when
topographical conditions are such that compliance with this subsection would be impracticable
or cause grade level conditions detrimental to adjacent or nearby property, consistent with the
intent of the Flood Protection regulations and any other applicable portion of this Code.
The Planning and Development Services Director has granted your request for administrative
relief of the finished floor elevation based on the following determinations:
1 The property is in Flood zone X.
2 The elevation of the center line of adjacent road is 100' NAVD.
3 The Proposed finished floor elevation of the storage room and hall will be 101.41'
NAVD which is 1.41' above the center line of the road.
4 The garage and single family residence are existing and the proposed interior renovation
is within the existing garage making additional elevation impracticable.
This approval does not in any way constitute authorization to begin construction. Prior to the
commencement of any construction on this property, an application for specific building permit
must be obtained from this department.

Our company was hired by Sal Yonta at Dreamworks Remodeling LLC to inspect the
site condition at the above referenced property address, with legal description of
Fairway Landings Parcel 9 Lot 9, to obtain the following requested elevations, based on
an assumed elevation datum:
The height of the garage floor in the back end of the garage is at EL 101.41 and
the height of the garage floor in the front of the garage near the garage door is
EL 101.24.
The height of the pavement of the cul-de-sac is as follows:
a. Edge of pavement near driveway: EL 99.66
b. Center of pavement near driveway: EL 100.00
c. Edge of pavement on inside of cul-de-sac driveway: EL 1,00.27
