CONSTRUCTION NOTES: 1. Unless specifically noted otherwise, all work shown on these drawings shall be performed by the General Contractor, who shall coordinate the work of all Sub -Trades, including work by Contractors employed by the owner. 2. The General Contractor shall in all respects comply with the Regulations of the Building Management, It shall be his responsibility to obtain such Regulations from the Building Management. 3. All contractor shall submit cuts, samples and finishes for written approval from the Architect prior to ordering materials. 4. All subcontractors shall submit shop drawings to the Architect for approval through the General Contractor prior to the commencement of the the work, unless noted otherwise. The General Contractor shall be responsible for verifying all shop drawings for Completion prior to submittal to the Architect. 5. Approval of shop drawings shall indicate only that such drawings generally express the intent of the Contract Documents and shall neither be construed as a complete check nor relieve the Contractor of his responsibility as noted herein. 6. No material substitutions shall be made without approval from the architect. The Architect will consider material change requests on an individual basis. Such contractors shall submit samples and cuts for written approval from the Architect prior to the commencement of the work. 7. The General Contractor shall submit in writing all proposals for additional work to the architect for review and approval. No work is to commence until a signed proposal is returned to the General Contractor. 8. The general Contractor shall be responsible for keeping the Construction area broom clean, and remove from the premises all waste materials, rubbish, wrappings, and salvages as generated by the construction, demolition, and/or delivery and installation of woodwork or other trade items. 9. Drawings are not to be scaled; dimensions shall govern. 10. The general Contractor shall schedule all work to conform to the general col. ,traction schedule schedule and shall cooperate with other Contractors in the required sequon.;al installation schedule as approved by the architect.. 11. A complete copy of the latest set of construction documents shall be kept ,u._I the site for review by the Architect. All drawings which have been superceded shall be removed from the job site. 12. Each Sub Trade shall be responsible fro reviewing the entire set of drawings and noting his work as applicable. Work indicated or inferred on the drawings shall be deemed and included in the Sub -contractors cost. The some shall apply to the General Contractor. 13. The General Contractor shall confirm and report to the Architect the presence of any asbestos within the project area and shall continue with work only after the asbestos has been removed or contained in accordance with the latest E.P.A. regulations. 14.
