Please see section 1816 'Terrnite Protection for all options of Termite TreatrTient. In addition the Florida Depa trnent of Agriculture and Consurner Services also regulates termite treatment. Metal Buildings do require termite treai,'6ent. The vapor b rier is optional in an accessary structi-ire, but mandatory if the soil has been termite treated. The Engineer is also requir rig the vapor barrier. The Tooter site will need to be addressed by the engineer. 1 Per E'dC Section 180§.4, the-rhinirnLim" -depth of footings below the undisturbed gr6und surface shall be 12 inches, the existing. 8" thickened e4e does not rneet this requirement.
