IF THE SPACE UNDER THE HOME IS TO BE ENCLOSED WITH SKIRTING OR OTHER MATERIALS, A VAPOR RETARDER (I.E. POLY...) MUST BE INSTALLED TO COVER THE GROUND UNDER THE HOME (SHALL BE 6 MIL. As an alternate to placing the perimeter pier directly under the perimeter joist on the floor system, the pier may be recessed up to a maximum of ten inches (10") from the outside edge of the floor system (sidewall side ONLY) when a minimum 44 P.T. that spans a minimum of two Floor joists is used on top of the recessed pier (see detail above). 2. The ten inches (10") maximum set back is measured from the outer edge of the floor system to the vertical face of the pier. 3.
