The ba�'e flood elevation of the property is 7 feet, NAVD. Federal law requires that a flood zone determination be done as a condition of a federally backed mortgage to determine if the structure is in a Special. Flood Hazard Area and if so, to require flood insurance. It is up to the I hder to determine whether flood insurance is required for a property. The Board i empowered to levy a fine not to exceed $250.00 per day for each day the violation continues. A fine not to exceed $500.000 per day mabe levied for a repeat violation.
