PANELS MAY BE SLICK
Panels may a oied and stick. Oil protects the panel colt stock and finished panels from rust during shipping
and slorage. Dew, host o any other moisture may cause panels to be slippery. Be certain o wipe paeis
clean before Installation begins.
Wear rubber sole work boots. When on the rod, use OSHA approved protection devices such as safety
eras, safety nets or a catch platform.
UNSECURED PANELS MAY SLIP IF STEPPED ON
Employees should be continuously warned to aver step on a single unsecured rod panel or a stack of
roof panels laying unatachad on the purns.
Secure each end with clamps at appropriate fasteners and piece wakboards in the flat of any panels
not fully secured to the pains all supported by paeis on each sib. Wakbcwds should run to the
full length of the panel and be fastened together by drilling a hie near the end of each board and lying
X with rope to the next board. (Cut a groove in the bottom of each board so that the board will No flat
