Any party who cuts or damages a truss shall be responsible
for the cost of the required engineering design and repair
of the truss. No back charges will be honored unless
approved in writing by an officer of St. Lucie Truss Corp.
Truss loads are designed from the bearing points up when
erected in a straight and plumb position. Field bracing
is not the responsibility of the truss fabricator,
designer or plate manufacturer. Persons erecting trusses
are cautioned to seek professional advice regarding
erection bracing which is always required to prevent
toppling and dominoing during erection and for permanent
bracing which may be required in specific applications.
Refer to HIB-91 and your Truss Engineering Package.
This truss layout is for placement of trussed roof com-
ponents for those involved in erection. It is not
intended to be a substitute for a framing plan which is
the responsibility of the building designer of record to
provide.
It is the responsibility of others than St. Lucie Truss
Corp. to provide a suitable area to unload trusses and
to provide access and egress to such area.
Approval and signing of this layout is necessary before
fabrication can begin. Verify spans, pitches, overhangs,
loadings, elevations, ceiling and bearing conditions.
Your trusses will be built in accordance with this layout.
