his letter is to request a relief from the 18" above center line of road in. our
roperty at 220 Olson Ave. Fort Pierce, FI.34946, the reasons for this request are
ie following:
• This is an existing house that we are trying to remodel for it to be our home
in the future.
• The topography of the area here is a hill, we are at the beginning of the
slope, going down.
• We are also intending to make it a beautiful little home, which will improve
the area and neighborhood.
• The house is much higher than the actual flood plane is in the area.
• The house is not in a flood zone.
his is a comment from our architect: Braden & Braden.
he average crown of the road in front of the house on Olsen ave. is 24.47'
IAVD. The existing house slab is at 24.69' NAVD per the survey you sent us. The
ouse as drawn will have a new 4" slab over the existing putting the new FFE at
5.02' NAVD. If,the county requires the finished floor elevation (FFE) to be 18"
bove the crown of road, then the house slab/floor will need to be at 25.97'
IAVD. That means the floor will need to be raised 113/8" more than what we
iow and 1'-3 3/8" above what is on site currently.
