Please submit a driveway permit application for the connection to Dixieland Dr. Response: Civil Engineer to submit PLANS EXAMINER REVIEW: William Durden - (Comments dated 09/21/2018) 1. Classification of the project specifies townhouse on page A-121A. Please see definition of townhouse. Please reclassify. [RB] Townhouse: A single-family dwelling unit not exceeding three stories in height constructed in a group of two or more attached units with property lines separating such units in which each unit extends from foundation to roof and with a yard or public way on not less than two sides. Response: Project is being reclassified as Two -Family Dwellings. 2. Please submit the roof underlayment meeting the requirements of the GAF roofing product approval number FL 10124.1 -R20, Line 6.1.1. Response: Asphalt shingles are being replaced by a TAMKO Building Products System: product approval number FL 18355.1 for the shingles, and FL 12328.4 for the underlayment. 3. Please remove or strike through with do not use to any references to the 3 unit structure. Please see Chapter 2, Section 107, subsection 107.2.1. Response: The 3 unit structure has been removed from the drawing set. 4. Please furnish the manufacturer's truss placement drawings in duplicate reviewed and approved by the design person of record in accordance with 61 G15-30.005 of the Florida Administrative Code. Response: Truss manufacturer drawings will be provided. They have been reviewed by design person of record and they comply with design concept / no exceptions taken. 5. Please furnish truss engineering in duplicate per 107.2 of the 2017 Florida Building Code. - Response: Truss manufacturer drawings will be provided. They have been reviewed by design person of record and they comply with design concept/ no exceptions taken. 6. The truss engineering must have the original signature of the truss manufacturer's engineer. Reviewed and approved by the design professional in charge. Please correct'and submit in duplicate. In accordance with Pagel of 3 - 17109 - Dixieland Town Homes 61G15-30.005 of the Florida Administrative Code and Chapter 8 Section R802 Subsection R802.1.7.1 of the 2017 Florida Residential Building Code. Response: Truss manufacturer drawings will be provided. They have been reviewed by design person of record and they comply with design concept / no exceptions taken. 7. See soil and foundation notes on page S-001. Please submit a copy of the geotechnical report specified on line SF-1 reviewed and approved by the design professional. Response: Project name and address has been updated 13. Line seven on the energy calc's are incorrect. Multiple types and sizes of glazed openings on plans. Please correct energy calc's as per section R401.3 of the 2017 Florida Building Code Energy Conservation 6th Edition. Response: Energy calculation have been revised with the correct types and sizes of glazed. See revised Energy calculation. 14. Line three on the energy calc's are incorrect. Structure is a multi -family unit. Please correct energy calc's as per section R401.3 of the 2017 Florida Building Code Energy Conservation 6th Edition. Response: There are two units per building, however, Energy Gauge does not allow for more than one unit to be entered per calculation. This was confirmed with Energy Gauge tech support. 15. Line four on the energy calc's are incorrect. Incorrect bed room count. Please correct energy calc's as per section R401.3 of the 2017 Florida Building Code Energy Conservation 6th Edition. Response: Bedroom count has been corrected. See revised energy calculations. 16. Line six on the energy talc's are incorrect. Incorrect square footage. Line fourteen on the energy calc's are incorrect. Water heater size does not match the plans.
