From our conversation, below are our suggested checklist items for Pond Excavation:
• Site plan showing size, shape, location and quantities of proposed excavation and fill areas.
• Site plan showing the minimum 25-foot setback from all property boundaries.
• Side slopes not to exceed 4 to 1 to a minimum of 3 feet below water level.
+ Depth of excavation does not exceed 12 feet in depth.
+ Hauling fill offsite in excess of 100 cubic yards will require a mining permit.
