11 AirHao;dler,#.1 Air Cooled DX Total Load :Sumrimary.
Air HandlerjjDescription: Air Cooled DX Constant Volume - Proportion
Supply Air an: Draw-Thru with program estimated horsepower of 0.01 HP
Fan Input: 85% motor and fan efficiency with 0 in. water across the fan
Sensible H lat Ratio: 1.00 --- This system occurs 1 time(s) in the building. ---
Air SystemI Peak Time: 5pm in August.
Outdoor Conditions: 89° DB, 78° WB, 128.26 grains:
Because of the diversity in zone, plenum and ventilation loads, the zone sensible peak time in August at 6pm is different
from the to al system peak time, hence the air system CFM was computed using a zone sensible load of 1,894.

CHV TSTAT CHV THSTAT Release Notes
Version 2.58.016
1. Added software patch to improve, temperature sensor reliability.
2. Fixed a range -limit bug on heat and cool setpoint inputs.
3. First press of up/down buttons on',main screen will only turn on
backlight, not. change setpoint value. This allows a user
to view the display at night without changing any settings
when he/she touches the buttons.
4. Humidistat setpoint range extended to 5-90%, facilitating
dehumidify usage in tropical locations.
5. Option added on "SYSTEM: HUM OPTS" page to invert the humidifier
relay logic. This simplifies interfacing to some dehumidify
applications, although many will use the standard logic.
Note that humidifier "OFF" mode will always de -energize the
HUM output, regardless of the logic sense.
6. Temperature compensation added which greatly improves measurement
accuracy, particularly in multistage setups.
7. Fan indicator "FN" displays on bottom line, along with the
other system indicators.
8. Out -of -range setpoint inputs no longer result in satura
the setpoint to its limit. Instead, the value is ignore n or log
message is generated indicating the targeted s of the nvalid
value sent to it.
9. Version number change to folio currotsta naming.
I
Version 2.46
Humidifier -Related Chan - s:
1. Humidification possi a with —TSTAT using —RTHS; bug fix from l.x versions.
2. Independent control of enabling the mode and view humidity screens, using
options available on "HUM OPTS" page.
3. Humidification now possible without screens being enabled, if programmed
through network.
Space Heat -Cool Changes:
1. Wide range cool option in setup, suitable for wine cellars or other colder• chilling
processes. Extends cool setpoint range to the auto range.
2. All temperature in/outs are in tenths of a degree, including setpoints.
3. Setpoint properly displayed in aux-heat only mode, bug fix from version 1.0.
4. If an Auto 2-point setpoint violation exists upon entry into auto, the cool is forced
up rather than the heat being forced down, opposite of l.x versions.
5. Accumulated error function added to dual fuel heatpump types to switch to aux-
only output "after extended time, to "give up" on a heatpump that is not working.
6. Relay indicators flash when short -cycle timers have not been satisfied.
7. Auto mode may be disabled using a setup option
Slab -Specific Changes:
1. Five (seven) new system types to support various slab -based heating or floor -
warming system designs.
2. Slab setpoint and slab max range is 3-50C
3. Added Slab setting for remote sensors and Cresnet output for remote 1-2 as slab
4. Slab temperature can be displayed on the main screen, as can humidity and ODT.
5. Floor -warming types (SLABI,5A,5B) use the floor warm mode inputs, located in
the slab slot, to enable their slab output, not the normal "Heat" or "Off' in the
heat -cool slot. These are used for space (air) modes. Since SLAB2,3,4A,4B use
the slab for SPACE heating, their slab output is enabled by the normal "Heat",
"Off' inputs under the heat -cool slot.
Setup -Screen Changes:
1. Unintended fan disengage on service/test screens has been corrected.
2. Setup -related outputs update on change rather than setup exit.
3. Fan Cresnet output now operates on the Setup "Service/Test" s - ? .
4. Half-C unit steps available, option on "DISP OPTIONS"
5. Interstage differential setting is available on multis tem o ingle stage
heatpump systems, found on "SYSTEM
6. Sensor setup screen indicates the senor;
remote channel.
7. Added menu option to reverse do o ystem mode change.
8. Cresnet system mode and setp pdate feedback instantly.
9. Disable auto mode setting inclu dNo"OTHER SETTINGS" page.
10. If the sensor setup is invalid, a message will be displayed explaining the condition
so that users know why they cannot leave setup. After a second the unit will then
jump to the sensor setup page
New Hardware Support:
1. Remotes can support 2 temperature sensors per channel, but cannot differentiate
' between —RTS and —RSS, this`.must be done by the user. -
I
Other Operational Changes:
1. TSID functions supported
2. New slotted model to reduce programming complexity.
3. Indirect text broadcast is no longer supported.
4. Inputting setpoint analogs out of range results in the setpoint being assigned its
limit value in that direction. Sending a value greater than Ox7FFF to the humidity
input results in a setting of 5% (minimum) since all analog inputs are assumed to
be signed numbers.
5. Setup debug string has been enhanced to show more detail about the system. See
manual for, more information about its contents.
6. Debug string indicates when the unit is in the setup screen by adding the word
SETUP near the end.
7. Debug string indicates that the unit has translated a version Lx setup since the last
reboot by placing an "R" near the end of the string.
8. Remote sensor recovery has been implemented. Unit will search for remotes that
have been lost and send messages to the error log and/or the main display.
9. "Invalid" sensor source outputs were added. There are outputs associated with
the raw output of each sensor, as well -as outputs for each digested output (ie,
Regulation Temp, Regulation Humidity, etc. where they could be averages of
more than one source)
10. Disable Auto Mode option was added as well as a slot 6 symbol output.
11. Symbol output for Reverse system mode direction was added.
12. All temperature and humidity lines will output zero when their invalid flag is
active. Note that on some digested outputs such as "Regulation Temperature," the
determination that a reading is invalid may take up to a minute since a error
recovery is holding the last good reading while it tries to reco nsor.
13. Entering SLAB 1 used to immediately clear the USE sa
e E al
temperature source. A time delay of a quarter seconddded so that
users cycling through SLAB 1 on their way to a er e will not
automatically clear the local temperature E s . ing
14. The flashing sequence for the third lie t t on ain screen has been
changed slightly. Since it is no 'ble "view msg", "lockout", and "hold"
to be active all at the same ti a sequence was changed to give all the
option to be displayed.
15. Short cycle protection timers we changed to 3 minutes.
Known Issues:
1. New slotted model is not compatible, with existing programs.
2. Up -down setpoint input digitals do not affect setpoints or their buffered values
when unit is in hold. All other mode- and setpoint-related inputs are buffered
while in hold and restored at hold exit.
3. Upgrading for the first time from a version 1.0 firmware should allow successful
run of the same setup with having to go through the setup screens. New features
are set to safe values. It is highly recommended that the dealer not upgrade the
units remotely.
4. 'Downgrading to version Lx firmware will not translate the version 2.x setup back
to the version Lx setup.
5. , Some display enables and the run -fan -in heat enable may not be translated
properly from a version Lx setup. User should verify proper setting after
upgrade. The scenario likely to be affected is when all page enable bits are "Y"
and the run -fan -in -heat is "Y".
