BY St Lucie County Date: September 26, 2018 P'Y FILE CO2" To: Leslie Olson AICP, Planning Director From: Carl Peterson BCA, CFM Building Official Re: Request Relief for Fence Requirements for Pools in the LDC The purpose of this memorandum is to request relief from the fence requirements in the Land Development Code that require a fence to isolate a pool from a water way. For Mr. Dan Pennell at 114 Queen Catherina Ct. Ft. Pierce FL. where there is a seawall is present. The fence will encompass the back yard except where there is four foot from the top of the seawall to ground on the water side of the property. The fence must also extend over the seawall minimum of 18 inches where it terminates at the seawall. I have inspected the site and it meets the four foot to the top of the seawall requirements.
