The above slope limitations can be exceehed only by using battens in accordance with the Approved Tile System
Notice of Acceptance and applicable Flo ida Building Code requirements. When battens are.required, they shall
be utilized during loading and installatio of tiles.
Care should be taken during the loading procedure to keep foot traffic to a minimum and to avoid dropping of
tile directly on the underlayment. Refer tb. Polyglass' Tile loading .detail below for loading procedure — two tiles
laid perpendicular to slope followed by a4 maximum four tile stack parallel to the slope, for a total of 6 tiles — for
all underlayments except Polystick MTS which shall be loaded onto battens.
