Finish B - hot dipped galvanized zinc coating of 0.60 ounces per sq. ft., per surface. Strop shall conform to ASTM spec. D3953-91- 2) Ground anchors shall be listed for a minimum working load of 3150 lbs., and ultimate load of 4725 lbs and be certified by a Professional Engineer. 3) A pivoting frame clamp is required -at the top of the I -Beam for installation of tie -down straps along the main I -Beams. Any pivoting frame clamp approved by the State of Florida may be used. 4) Other tie -down systems may be used such as Vector -Dynamics by Tie -Down Engineering, if installed per the manufacturer installation instructions, approved by the State of Florida and certified by a Professional Engineer. 5) Longitudinal stabilizer devices (L28D) by Tie -Down Engineering may be used as an aftemate to the longitudinal tie -down straps and anchors shown in detail 'B', provided that the devices are installed per the manufacturer installation instructions, approved by the State of Florida and certified by a Professional Engineer. 6) The minimum distance between the bottom of the I-beam and finished grade is 18". When the grade is sloped, 25% of the lowest member maybe below 18" However under no circumstances may the bottom of the 1-beam be set below 12" from finished grade. 7) A radius clip is required on factory installed centerline fie -downs that have a slot designed to receive a tie -down strap. 8) Strap hooks, buckles and field threaded buckles are not permitted. To splice a strap a double crimp seal is required. See manufacturer instructions. 9) All equipment and connection devices shall be galvanized and rated for a minimum working load of 3150 lbs. 10) When the soil compaction or soil bearing capacity is not known, assume 1000 PSF or consult with the local building authority. 11)See Skyline Corporation Manufactured Home Installation Manual for other information not covered by this supplement.
