Dear Mr Manero: -
Please find submitted in person today in the office of the St. Lucie County Planning & Developmental Services the
requested changes to the plans per Review Comments dated 11/9/18 [Permit Number 1811-0024]. The below
numbered items address each of the same numbered items in the Note of that submitted Comments.
1) Chariges are made to the plans originally submitted in person to the office of the St. Lucie County Planning &
Developmental Services on 11/2/18 by the substitution of a Revision Complete Redraw of the plan and elevation
drawing. The original plan and elevation drawing dated 10/22/18 drawn by G.D. and Checked by the Engineer,
Gus Tarnowski, P.E. # 50662 is to be replaced by the revision dated 11/26/18 drawn by G.D. and checked by the
engi I eer, Gus Tarnowski, P.E. #50662.
2) Changes are highlighted in these plans with yellow highlighter. Two areas are highlighted: one on the bottom
right showing a note that engineering is using the existing 4" concreter slab w/ no footing for the support of the
screen frame structure. The other highlighted area is on the bottom left consisting of a Rational Analysis
Calcul lation showing that the existing 4" slab with no footer is adequate to bear the wind uplift of the planned
screen enclosure.
3) This bage (presented in duplicate) consisting of the revised plan and elevation drawing with the note on the
concrete slab is to act as a revision of the existing page containing the plan and elevation drawing of the
originally submitted plan.
4) A checklist of the revision is as follows:
a. 11/26/18 Revision Complete Redraw of the plan/elevation drawing with notes addressing the 1811-
0024 Comments. ( in duplicate)
5) The submitted revision addresses the comment given in the 1811-0024 Comment.pdf document under the
subheading titled "Plans Examiner Review" with the request of having a design professional certify the existing
slab to be sufficient for the new screen enclosure. The "Rational Analysis Calculation Per FBC 2014 for
Fourjdation" satisfies this comment as it uses the existing 4" slab that is observed on the planned foundation.
Respectfully yours,
