Hello Patricia,
FPUA policy currently, would not require Southern Truss to provide a letter stating that this
development will connect to water/wastewater services when made available through FPUA. Our
current policy would only require a letter where the property is connecting to county provided
services similar to what was done for the Missionary Flight Project.
We apologize for the misunderstanding
John

Good morning Ana.
We are viewing the comments associated with the above noted project and wish to
request additional clarification on a comment in reference to FPUA water and
wastewater connection to serve the development.
1) Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (FPUA) has plans to extend water and
sewer services along Kings Highway contingent upon FDOT’s scheduling
for roadway expansion/improvements. Please denote a future connection
to water/wastewater services on the site plan and provide a letter stating
Southern Truss will connect to water/wastewater services when made
available through FPUA.
The applicant is not proposing to connect to FPUA water or sewer. Is this a
requirement by FPUA when future services are available? If so, could you supply the
section of the code that requires this?
Your help with this is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
