THIS GENERALIZED TRAFFIC ANALYSIS WAS UNDERTAKEN IN SUPPORT OF A PROPOSED
DEVELOPMENT CONSISTING OF A 103,200 SQUARE FOOT STORAGE FACILITY TO BE CONSTRUCTED ON
A LOT TO BE CREATED FROM PARCEL ID#: 1313-232-0002-000-1, IN FT PIERCE, FLORIDA. ACCESS TO
THE SITE WILL BE PROVIDED VIA A DRIVEWAY ON MIRAMAR AVENUE.
THIS ANALYSIS ASSESSES THE POTENTIAL TRAFFIC GENERATION OF THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT,
IN ACCORDANCE WITH FDOT STANDARDS. BASED ON THE PROPOSED USE, MINI WAREHOUSE (ITE
CODE 81151) AND GENERATION FIGURES SUPPLIED BY THE TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER’S TRIP
GENERATION REPORT, 9TH EDITION, THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS EXPECTED TO GENERATE 198 DAILY
TRIPS AND 35 PEAK HOUR TRIPS AFTER PASS-BY TRIPS ARE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT.
TRIP GENERATION RATES FOR THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT WERE OBTAINED FROM THE INSTITUTE
OF TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERS (ITE) TRIP GENERATION REPORT, 9TH EDITION. THE PASS-BY RATES
WERE OBTAINED FROM THE ITE TRIP GENERATION HANDBOOK, 2ND EDITION.
