The Development Review Committee (DRC) has reviewed your application package and found it to be complete. A finding of completeness confirms that you have provided the required information for the DRC to review your project for consistency with the Land Development Code and Comprehensive Plan and recommend approval or denial. The St. Lucie County Administrator issued an Executive Order, with an effective date of March 17, 2020, in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. This Executive Order suspends, tolls or extends the time requirements and deadlines of pending Zoning and Land Use applications until the Local State of Emergency expires or is rescinded. The DRC will review your application at its meeting on March 4, 2021. At the meeting, you will receive review comments and a preliminary recommendation for approval or denial. You will then have an opportunity to resolve any issues with the application by submitting documents addressing the DRC comments electronically with text documents in Word (.doc) format and graphic exhibits in PDF format. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, hard copies are not required at this time. Following the termination of the State of Emergency if you choose not to resubmit documentation addressing these comments or provide a written request for an extension, your application will be considered withdrawn along with the forfeiture of all fees paid to date. If you have any questions about this timeline, the approval process, or the status of your application, please contact me at (772) 462-1687 or email Grubbsb@stlucieco.org. I look forward to working with you through this process.
