Swendy called me to find out who the roof contractor of record was on the job. The 13-floor condominium had a change of contractor from Roof Authority to Vero Beach Roofing. There was no change of contractor for the 'garages. The project manager for Proctor sent the attach letter with one sub contractor agreement and no permit number. We applied the change of contractor request to the condominium. The same was done for the plumbing contractor on the condominium permit. The Electrical contractor was taken care of back in November 2001 and attached is that request from the project coordinator and was kind enough to list all the permits requesting the change and although we did not go Pack and request original sub agreements we did charge for each permit and the change. Project Manager, John Granath on Friday was upset because there was a stop work order put on his job and Swendy sent the roofing contractor off the job. I told him that we would require a sub contractor agreement for each permit. He told me him if I read my form it states "for the project located" meaning the one letter and one sub contract agreement signed should be acceptable for the job and the ne fee. I told him I would talk to the building official. I feel we can deal with the paper work just make copies but there should be a $25 fee. Your suggestion would be appreciated. constructI on Co.
