Yes a driveway permit is needed, there is currently no connection to this property. Sunrise Dr. is a milled road, a culvert
with mitered ends are required. No concrete or asphalt connection to road is required.

Dana let me know that you were looking for a status update on the 231 Sunrise Dr. vegetation application. Jennifer
spoke to the building contractor on 3/8/2016 and wrote him the email below, informing him that they need to get a
non -binding wetland jurisdictional determination for the property, because the parcel could contain a wetland. As of
that date the application was placed on hold. Jenn will update CodeView accordingly.

Mr. Roat,
As discussed over the phone this morning, additional information including a non -binding wetland jurisdictional
determuiation from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection is required to complete your request to
build a �ingle family residential home on the lot located at 231 Sunrise Drive. During a site inspection on 3/7/16
staff noted an area which may be considered a jurisdictional wetland by the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection (FDEP). As such, we request you contact FDEP to obtain a non -binding wetland
jurisdictional determination for the property. FDEP's local office is located at 337 N US Highway 1, Suite 307
in Fort Pierce and their phone number is 772-467-5500. If a wetland jurisdictional has never been performed on
the site you may be required to hire an environmental consultant to assist you. For your convenience I have
included a list of environmental consultants that work in this area. Please be advised we do not endorse nor
recommend any of these firms and you may use any qualified firm you wish. If the FDEP determines a wetland
is present onsite you will be required to avoid and minimize impacts to the wetland and its associated upland
buffer (which is usually 25 feet but in some cases can be 50 feet depending on the size and connectivity of the
wetland). We can discuss your options further once you have received the non -binding wetland jurisdictional
determination from FDEP. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email or you may call
my office at 772-462-3862. Your application will be placed on hold for 60 days until I receive the additional
information requested.
