Dear George Shoemaker,
This letter serves as a six (6) month notice of an eviction due to a change in the use of land
of the Whitehaven Mobile Home Park located at 1030 N. Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458.
Pursuant to section 723.061(1)(d), Florida Statutes, the owner of Whitehaven Mobile Home Park
entitled to change the use of the land from mobile home rentals to some other use. The owner
has decided to do so, and is giving you this notice that your tenancy at 1030 Military Trail Lot 66,
Jupiter, FL 33458 will terminate on May 2, 2013 (6 months plus five days mailing time from the
date of postmark of this notice).
YOU MAY BE ENTITLED TO COMPENSATION FROM THE FLORIDA MOBILE HOME
RELOCATION TRUST FUND, ADMINISTERED BY THE FLORIDA MOBILE HOME
RELOCATION CORPORATION (FMHRC); FMHRC CONTACT INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE
FROM THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL REGULATION.
The Florida Mobile Home Relocation Corporation is a private corporation, funded by the
state of Florida, which will assist you in relocating your home to another mobile home park in the
area. Under the statute governing the corporation, you are entitled to compensation for either: (1)
relocating your home from the lot, or (2) abandoning your home onsite. Relocation or
abandonment of your home must be completed by no later than the date of termination of your
tenancy pursuant to this notice. However, please be advised that if you file litigation to contest the
change in use of land, you are not entitled to compensation from the Corporation. See, section
723.0612(9), Florida Statutes.
Please remember that your normal monthly obligation to pay your lot rental amount as well
as your obligation to comply with the Park's rules and regulations will remain in force and effect
until such time as your home has been removed from the Park.

Please accept this letter in response to your application received May 24, 2013 to install a new
mobile home at 3318 Orange Ave lot 35, Fort Pierce.
A Mobile Home Park is not a permitted use in a Commercial Office zoning district. Seminole
Mobile Home Park is considered a nonconforming park. According to County records Lot 35 has
been vacant for more than twelve (12) months. Therefore, the property lost the nonconforming
status. Pursuant to Section 10.00.02 (F-1) of the St Lucie County Land Development Code
"when a nonconforming use is discontinued or abandoned for twelve (12) months, then the
nonconforming use may not be restored, unless the nonuse is due to circumstance beyond the
property owner's control".
Therefore staff cannot approve the permit application for a new mobile home at the subject
property.

The purpose of this letter is to provide an alternative stabilization system to the Oliver System as stated in
the plans:
1. Lot 035 (10'-0" x 56'0")
a. The Xi System by Tie Down Engineering can be used on the above lot as an equivalent to
the Oliver System. Each mobile home shall have two Combo Systems (LSD
Longitudinal with Lateral Strut) installed, i.e. one Combo per each end. In addition,
stabilizer plates shall be installed at each Combo System. The Combo Systems stall be
installed per Tie Down Engineering specifications. No additional modifications to the
approved plans are allowed.
