WeatherLodk® Specialty Tile & Metal is permitted to be used as prescribed in FBC
Section. 1507.1.1- WeatherLoek® Specialty Tile & Metal is permitted to be used with
adhered clay or concrete the roofing using either ICP Adhesives Polyset AH-160 (ICP
Adhesives and Sealants, Inc.) or TILE BOND = Roof Tile Adhesive -(The Dow Chemical
Comparry). Exposure on the roof deck shag be limited to a maximum 90 days.
The maximum roof slope shag be 6:12 when used with day or concrete file installations
without battens_ Tile shall be stored on battens for roof slopes greater than 6:12. Tiles
shall not be stacked greater 10 dies per stack.
- WeatherLock® G (High WeatherLock&1 G (High Tear) is a self -adhered, undedayment used as an alternative to
Tear) ASTM D 226, Type I or Type 11 roofing felt and ASTM D 1970 self -adhering polymer
(Houston, 7X) modified bitumen undedayment The undedayment is composed of SBS modified
asphalt with a fiberglass mat internal reinforcement and is surfaced with granites. The
product is supplied with a nominal thickness of 50 mils in 1.95-sq rafts with nominal
dimensions of 3-ft x 65-IL
WeatherLock® G (Ffigh Tear) is permitted to be used as prescrbed in FBC Section
1507.1.1 for mechanically attached roof coverings. Exposure on the roof deck shall be
limited to a maximum 30 days.

Min. Roof Slope: 2:12 in accordance with the FBC
Application: All undedayments shall be installed in accordance with the FBC.
Dank substrates shalt be clean, dry, and free from any irregularities and debris. Ali
fasteners in the deck shall be checked forpretmsion and consoled prior to undedayment
applcation. Prior to beginning installation, tha .airdedayment shall be. taimfled and
showed to relax fora.mirtimum of 3-5 minutes
The undedayment,shall be installed with thi release backer removed and pressed firmly
Into place to ensure complete contact with the deck.'Tie undedayment shall be installed
with the roll length parallel to file eave,.starting-at. the save, and with minimum T side
laps and minimum.6' end taps staggered min. 6-Rfmm preceding course. Additionally, if
applying WeatherLock® Specially Tile & Metal, end laps shag be primed with ASTN D
41 primer or sealed with asphalt roof cement a minimum of 3.4 inches across the width
of the lap.
It is permissible to back nail the andertayment 12-inches on -center as needed (nails shall
be installed perpendicular to deck with the nail heads flush to the top surface of the
underlayment). Additionally, WeatherLock® Specialty Trio & Metal shall be back nailed
when installed on r ref slopes greater than 3:12.
Min. Appfcation 40'F; Contact the manufacturer when installing at temperatures below the minimum
Temperature: application temperature.

GENERAL
1) This evaluation report is not use in the HVHZ.
2) Fee Classification is not within the scope of this evaluation.
3) Installation of the evaluated product shall comply with this report, the FBC, and the manufacturers published
application instructions. Where discrepancies exist between these sources, the more restrictive and FBC
compliant installation detail shall prevail.
4) The roof deck shall be constructed of closely fdted plywood sheathing for new or existing construction.
5) The space under the deck area stall be property ventilated in accordance with the FBC requirements.
6) All side lap seams shall be installed to shed water from the deck
7) The underpayment may used as described in other current FBC product approval documents.
8) Design "wind load pressures shag be determined for components and cladding in accordance with FBC
1609.
9) The roof deck shag be designed by others in accordance with FBC requirements to resist the design wind
load pressures for components anddadc ing-
10) Maximum Design Pressures for a given underlayment shall meet or exceed "the design wind loads
determined for the roof assembly. "
11) AD products listed in this report shall be manufactured under a quality assurance program in compliance with
Rule 61 G20.4. "
