The system is acceptable as approved based on the requirements of Florida Product
Approval # FL1654-R23, Appendix 1, page 26 of 65, System No. W-170 with a
maximum design pressure of -90 psf.
Base Ply:
Self adhere one or more plies of Elastoflex SA V Base Ply sheet to the min. 15/32"
plywood deck.
Cap Ply:
Torch apply the Polyflex G Cap Ply sheet to the base ply sheet.
Notes: Corners and perimeter area dimension shall not be less than a = 3'6"
Contractor to verify that the fastening patterns meet manufacturer's
requirements for issuance of a warranty (as applicable).
All work shall be in compliance with the local building code product
control notice of acceptance and manufacturer specifications and Florida
Building Code 2017 Edition.
Wind load calculations based on ASCE-7, FBC 2017, and information
provided by client. Client is responsible for verifying existing/proposed
conditions/decks as it pertains to the above provided product approval.
All work shall be inspected by our field engineer (or authorized
representative) or a building department inspector to verify compliance
