To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to specify the approved method of installing wood blocking inside of the flanges of the steel C-channel
that was installed for support for the garage door modification at the above referenced project. The subject blocking
is for attachment of the garage door hardware. Note that the approved nominal 2x blocking is to be cut to fit with
the C-channel as shown and is to be attached to the C-channel with two (2) %s"x4" lags through pre -drilled holes in
the flanges of the C-channel as shown. Below is a visual representation of the subject blocking installation as
described above.
