A Mobile Home Park is not a permitted use in a Commercial Office zoning district. Seminole Mobile Home Park is considered a nonconforming park. According to County records Lot 49 has been vacant for more than twelve (12) months. Therefore, the property lost the nonconforming status. Pursuant to Section 10.00.02 (F-1) of the St Lucie County Land Development Code .when a nonconforming use is discontinued or abandoned for twelve (12) months, then the nonconforming use may not be restored, unless the nonuse is due to circumstance beyond the property owner's control".
