Thank you for your comments in preparation for the plans referenced above. Please find below how the
comments were addressed in compliance:
1. Comment 1: Please show the location of the vertical rebar on the footer plan
a. Corrective Action: See Revision 1 on Page A.03 for darker print of vertical rebar within
block on footer plan. Vertical Rebar from existing wall to new wall is shown in detail W1
on page A.04
2. Comment 2: Slab is existing provide a detail to embed the vertical rebar into the existing thickened
edge
a. The submitted plans (sheet A.03) footer plan refers to a Footer Detail — FAD1 that shows
embedding rebar from new slab to existing house slab. The existing patio slab has been
removed and new 4 inch slab has been constructed under separate permit.
3. Comment 3: Please provide a detail for the bond beam at the top of the knee wall.
a. Corrective Action: See Revision 1 on Page A.04 for Typical Knee Wall Detail to include
precast lintel or 6" thick form/pour with 25" steel overlap (1- #5 centered).
4. Comment 4: A roof framing plan prepared by a design professional is required
a. Corrective Action: I have reviewed and approved the roof framing plan prepared by
Chambers Truss.
S. Comment 5: Please Provide all truss connections include truss to truss connections
a. Corrective Action: See Revision Ion Page A.06 for truss to truss connection details
6. Comment 6: Truss drawings are required to be reviewed and approved by design professional
a. Corrective Action: Roof framing plans included with this submittal
7. Comment 7: Please Provide the screen infill detail -
a. Corrective Action: All screens will be framed with a H123 1" x 2" U Channel or H124 2" x
2" U Channel with mainframes, connected with self -tapping hex head Tek screws, vertical
and horizontal.
8. Comment 8: Please provide the roof underlayment specifications on the drawings
a. Corrective Action: See Revision 1 on Page A.04 for underlayment specification
