Verification Statement
This statement shall serve as verification that the soil beneath the proposed structure has been tested in accordance
with Section R401.4 of the 2017 Florida Building Code, Residential edition. The tests were conducted from the
existing grade.
Density tests were taken at a minimum of three (3) locations throughout the total depth of fill. The depth of fill was
approximately 3_0 feet. The foundation setbacks were based on information furnished by the client, at the time of
testing.
Based on the location and depths tested, we verify that the fill has been compacted to a minimum of 95% of the
maximum dry density as determined by ASTM D-1557 and that the minimum soil bearing value beneath the proposed
foundation area is 2,500 pounds per square foot.
