To all concerned,
The Dynamic 1" Nailstrip 26 Gauge Steel Roof Panel, manufactured by Dynamic Metals LLC, is a non-
structural galvalume coated steel roof panel (50 ksi min) that meets the requirements of Sections 1507.4.3 and
1518.9 of the 6"h Edition (2017) Florida Building Code. The panel has been tested per TAS 100 and 125 by
Intertek, with results shown in test reports G3443.40.450-44 and G3443.14-450-44.

I have reviewed this submittal per the requirements of FAC Product Approval Rule Chapter 61 G20-3.005
(4). Based on the limitations listed•below and those provided in the documents above, this product meets all the
requirements of the 6m Edition (2017) Florida Building Code generally, and chapter 15 specifically, including the
HVHZ provisions,
Limitations: This panel is approved for use inside and outside of the HVHZ.
Overall Limitations: Maximum Panel Width: 16" (nominal)
Fastener spacing across panels: 16" O.C. (at nailstrip)
(Panels overlap with male/female snap fit)
Field Installation
Maximum Design Pressure: 116 psf.
Max. Fastener Spacing: 2" from ends, 6" max. O.C.
Min. Panel Fastener: #10x1" Panclip fastener

Perimeter and Corner Installation
Maximum Design Pressure: 176 psf
Panel Clip Anchor Spacing: 2" from ends, 6" max. OL.
Min. Panel Fastener: #10x1" Panclip fastener
Panel Sealant: Continuous bead of Geoce1.2320
at nailstrip side of seam
Underlavment: 1 layer of 30 lb. organic felt paper with 4" overlaps, anchored with
.120°x1 '/4" galvanized roof nails with 32 Ga. Tin caps spaced 6" O.C. in
rows at the perimeter, at overlaps, and two intermediate rows per sheet..

Any underlayment with a valid FLPA or Miami -Dade NOA
Fire Barrier: 1 layer of VersaShield with 4" overlaps, anchored with .120"x1 '/4"
galvanized roof nails with 32 Ga. Tin caps spaced 6" O.C. in rows. at the
perimeter, at overlaps, and two intermediate rows per sheet.

Any fire barrier with a valid FLPA or Miami -Dade NOA
Minimum Substrate: 'W (15/32" min) 4-ply CDX Plywood, nailed to 2x rafters spaced 24" max.
O.C. with 8d ring -shank nails spaced 4" O.C.
Other Limitations: Roof slope must meet requirements of FBC Section 1507.4.2.
Fire classification is not a part of this evaluation.
Shear diaphragm values are not a part of this evaluation.
Design of substrate is by others and is not a part of this evaluation.
