A quorum was present. Public Comment No public comment. 2. Approval of the Minutes for 3/20/2024, 2/21/2024 and 1/17/2024 Rayme Nuckles called for the approval of minutes. Arnold Gaines made a motion to approve the minutes. Larry Leet seconded the motion. Motion carried. 3. 2024 Point in Time Count Rayme reviewed the findings of the Point in Time (PIT) report. The Committee discussed the results of the PIT report. 4. HAC Resolution Advocating for Intergovernmental Collaboration Rayme called for the approval of the HAC Resolution 24001 with revision. Larry made a motion to approve HAC Resolution 24001. Arnold seconded the motion. Motion carried. 5. HAC Annual Report -Planning of Chapter 5 Action Step: Develop a workshop on homelessness in collaboration with the county and cities. The Committee deliberated on hosting a workshop in reference to homelessness and selected important individuals to be invited. Rayme noted that any reports stemming from the workshop must be presented to the BOCC for approval on September 18, 2024. 6. House Bill 1365 Rayme provided an overview of House Bill 1365 and its potential implications for the area. Rayme suggested an intergovernmental collaboration to focus on rapid rehousing. 7. Other Business Rayme introduced Gwen McCleod as the Director of the Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council for St. Lucie County.
