Our determination is that it qualifies as a nonconforming lot of record, waiving the lot area requirement and allowing for the construction of a single-family residence and accessory structures on the property. When applying for a building permit written approval from- the North St. Lucie Water Control District for crossing Canal 53 from Brocksmith Road will be required. A septic tank permit is required when submitting an application for a building permit therefore it is suggested that the Health Department be contacted before making final development plans. They have an approved permit from North St. Lucie River Water Control District. Do they also need a driveway permit from you?
