Metal roofing to be attached with corrosion resistant Pancake -Head wood screws #10 a 1"
minimum (minimum 3/16" penetration through deck). Fasteners shall be placed through the
nailing strip at 16" on center across panel width and spacing nailstrip as follows:
ZONE 1 (Field): FASTENER SPACING = 6" O.C.
ZONE 2 (Perimeter/ Ridge): FASTENER SPACING = 6" O.C.
ZONE 3 (Corners): FASTENER SPACING = 6" O.C. (WITH 3/8" BEAD OF SEAM
ADHESIVE)
Design uplift Pressure for attachment as per above:
Product Design Pressure: Zones I & 2:-69.25PSF / Zone 3:-121.75PSF

UNDERLAYMENT:
Underlayment shall be in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines, FBC 1507.4.5.1, and FBC
15074.5.2. Underlayment shall be Polyglass Polystick TU Plus FL# 5259.1
DECK INSTALLATION:
Re -nail all plywood sheathing (15/32" thick minimum) with 8D ring -shank nails at 4" O.C.
perimeter and 6" O.C. field for all zones.
All work to be in compliance with product approval (FL # 20378.2), manufacturer's
specifications, and the Florida Building Code 2017.
