Hey Angela, Please forward to Development Director SCANNU)
Attn. Development Director, St. Luce County
Permit#1905-0499
Would like relief from ch.7.04.01 of community development code. Proposed guest house will be 14" above center of
road which is approx.. 1700 ft. from proposed guest house. They have added several inches of millings to road since
existing house was built. Guest house is in front and to the side of existing house and putting it higher than existing
house would not be aesthetically pleasing and could be more of a strain on using existing septic system.
Thank you,
Dave Golden

Pursuant to Section 7.04.01(C-3) of the St Lucie County Land Development Code, the Planning

built resulting in the crown of the road being higher.
3 Raising the guest house higher than the main house could cause the undo stress on the

The guest house will be the same elevation as the existing house in order to keep it
esthetically pleasing.
The elevation of the center line of adjacent road is 19.54' NAVD
The proposed top of the slab will be 20.7' NAVD which is 1.16' above the center line of
the road.
This approval does not in any way constitute authorization to begin construction. Prior to the
commencement of any construction on this property, an application for specific building permit
must be obtained from this department.
