UES Project No.:0310.1900516.0005
Dear Mr. Murray:
Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc, was retained by Wade Jurney Homes to provide inspection and testing services
during the construction of the Lakewood Park - Lot 0006- 7501 Brookline Ave. in 7501 Brookline Avenue , Ft. Pierce,
Indian River County, FL. We provided materials testing services in an effort to ascertain whether the earthwork and
placement of structural fill material for the foundation were performed in general conformance to the approved specificati
ons and HUD guidelines.
To the best of our knowledge, the foundation soil bearing capacity was satisfied within the depth tested according to
the compaction testing dated 0112412020 and 01/28/2020, and meets HUD's guidelines. We do not undertake the
guarantee of the work, nor do we relieve the contractor of their responsibility to produce a completed project
conforming to the project plans and specifications, including any deeper site improvement measures.
We appreciate to have had the opportunity to provide material testing services for this project. Please do not hesitate to
contact us if you should have any questions, or if we can be of further assistance.

Universal performed two 5 feet deep hand auger borings at the northwest and southeast comers.
No organics, deleterious materials or expansive, highly plastic clays were encountered.
The proposed residence can be supported upon conventional shallow footing foundation designed for a maximum allowable soil
bearing pressure of 2,000 pounds per square foot (psf).
Notes:
In Place Density Testing must be scheduled for stem wall backfill and footings prior to concrete placement.
These tests are in addition to the tests performed.
Any additional fill placed will require additional testing at standard unit fees.
This testing covers the house pad only.
Pool and deck areas were not included in this study; these items can only be tested as they are constructed.
Please notify us in the event you wish to test pool subgrade and badtfill.
This test was performed without deviation from ASTM procedures.
