All backfill required on -site shall be clean, granular sand material placed in lifts of maximum 12 in.. The backfill shall be free from debris and organic material. Fill material shall be j compacted to 95% maximum dry density as determined by < ASTM D1557. All backfill under the slabs shall be termite treated after compaction. Treatment shall be in accordance with rules and laws established by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. All areas, under the building and five feet beyond, shall be cleared, grubbed and stripped of all surface vegetation. Debris and stumps shall be removed in their entirety and the exposed surface shall be proof -rolled with sufficient passes to produce the required compaction. 2.) The minimum allowable soil bearing capacity shall be 2,000 psf at 95% compaction. 3.) All windows, doors and attachments to be provided for this project shall be impact rated and designed to withstand wind loads shown on the floor plans. Follow manufacturer guidelines for proper sealing and waterproofing of windows and door assemblies. All manufacturer certifications shall be provided. 4.) In lieu of impact rated doors and windows, contractor may provide impact rated hurricane shutters. The shutters must also comply with the design wind pressure requirements of the window covered. 5.) Soffit material shall be installed as per manufacturer specifications to withstand design pressures shown on soffit detail. 6.)
