This letter is to answer the Residential Renovation Review Comments letter dated 9/26/19 from
Jpi, Inc., Andrew.
1. 7/5 Manufacturers truss placement will be supplied by Contractor/Owner signed and
reviewed by engineer.
2. 7/5 Contractor/Owner will supply truss engineering in duplicate per 107.2.1 FBC. Included
from Engineer, reviewed and signed.
3. 7/5 Cubic Volume was stated in Energy Calculations plus added to HVAC plan, NOW added
beside Information Plan Sq. Footage calculations (3 areas)
4. 7/5 Underlayment discrepancy noted and corrected between dots and drawings. Attached is
updated Underlayment Cert. and product approval
5. 7/5 Plans modified to show Metal Roof and new product approval docks adjusted to reflect
standing seam.
6. 7/5 Classification of Work is shown on sheet 2
7. Cubic Volume Footage has been added along with the 2017 reference so Contractor will
comply with Existing Building Code sections 3-14. See Sheet 5 and 9.
— 8. 7/5 Information referencing section 301, sub -sections 301.1-3 was reviewed and added,
Compliance Method from the Existing Building Performance Compliance Method. See
Sheet 2
9. 7/10 Please see sheets 2 & 4 for location of concrete repair for bearing footing and similar
plumbing concrete repair method
10.7/10 Concrete information was on Sheet 2. Sheet 1 has soil information requested.
11. 9/26 Depth of "2x" interior studs has been adjusted to 2x4 as requested.
12.9/26 Complete wall sections added sheets 4 & 6.
13.9/26 Lintel Beam information for 6 new windows has been added to sheet 4
14.9/26 Front Porch truss has explanation of construction on Framing sheet 5
15.9/26 Window or door buck detail and flashing note are on sheet 6.
16.9/26 Climate zone has been modified to reflect zone 2.On form R405
17.9/26 Frame wall insulation value is
18.9/26 The Gas installation will be under separate permit. And to be acquired prior to
installation.
19.9/26 A new number has been added to the product affidavit to correct the expired one.
20.9/27 This is understood.

This letter is to answer the Residential Renovation Review Comments letter dated 6/23/2019 to
7/10/19.
1. Manufacturers truss placement will be supplied by Contractor/Owner
2. Contractor/Owner will supply truss engineering in duplicate per 107.2.1 FBC.
3. Energy Calculations and Manual J load calcs. Have the electronic signature on them from
Pro Calcs Preparer, Contractor/Owner will Sign as well for Verification.
4. Underlayment discrepancy noted and corrected between does and drawings.
5. Plans modified to show Metal Roof and new product approval docks adjusted to reflect
standing seam.
6. Cubic Volume Footage added to drawings as requested and are shown in Energy/Manual J
Documents. Refer to sheet 9, A/C layout.
7. Cubic Volume Footage has been added along with the 2017 reference so Contractor will
comply with Existing Building Code sections 3-14. See Sheet 5 and 9.
8. Information referencing section 301, sub -sections 301.1-.3 have been reviewed and added,

12. All Fenestration units are new and adhering to 6`b Edition Florida Building Code and will be
installed per Manufacturers recommendations. See Energy and Load Calculations for specific
U-factor and SHGC.
13. NFRC Sheets will be supplied by contractor.
14. See Energy and Load documents plus layout sheet 9, have added statements.
15. See Sheet 8 for added information requested.
16. See Sheet 9 plus Energy and Load Calculations for requested notation of R503.2.
17. Surveys will be supplied by contracter/Owner.
18. See Sheet 4 for added dimensioning as requested.
