The home manufacturer designed the home's thermal and HVAC duct requirements, an engineering company approved the plans and the manufacturer put all pertinent information on the data sheet located inside the home — all to the federal requirements. All information is on the data sheet for the HVAC contractor to size the heating/air conditioning system. The home manufacturer built the home to approved plans and the state of Florida's in plant inspectors made sure all aspects of thehomewere correct. Since mobile homes are regulated and preempted by the federal government, local building departments cannot ask for construction information. Everything has already been done.
