This product is being issued an Evaluation Report as described herein, and has been verified for compliance in accordance with the 2004 edition of the Florida Building Code, and to verify that the product is for the purpose intended at least equivalent to that required by the Code. 2. STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CALCULATIONS: On Maximum Impact HV Accordion Shutter (ASSA / Bertha HV Accordion Shutter System) for maximum shutter span vs, design wind load, as well as maximum anchor spacing vs. design wind load and shutter span based on rational and comparative analysis, and in accordance with section 1612 of the Florida Building Code. Calculations prepared by Tilleco, Inc., dated 7/15/05, signed and sealed by Walter A. Tillit, Jr., P.E. 3. MISSILE IMPACT RESISTANCE: Large missile impact under section 1609.1.4 of the Florida Building Code, as per ASTM E 1896 and ASTM F. 1996, Missile Level D. as well as Protocols TAS 201 and 203 (Large Missile)_ 4. WIND LOADS RESISTANCE: Accordion Shutter System has been verified to sustain wind pressures. Maximum Shutter Span shall be as indicated on sheet 9 of 14 of Product Evaluation Document (P.E.D.), drawing No. 06-016. Maximum Anchor Spacing shall be as indicated on sheets 10. 11 and 12 of 14 of Product Evaluation Document (P.E.D.), drawing No. 06-016, Accordion Shutter System has been verified for code compliance to work as a non -porous storm shutter assembly, as per section 3.3.2.7 of ASTM E 1996 Standard. S. INSTALLATION: Shall be performed strictly in accordance with the details indicated on sheets 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 13 and 14 of 14 of Product Evaluation Document (P.E.D.), drawing No. 06-016. Minimum separation to glass shall be as indicated on sheets 5, 6, 7, 8, 13 and 14 of 14 of Product Evaluation Document (P.E.D.), drawing No. 06-016.
