Pierce, St. Lucie County, FL UES Project No.:0310.1900516.0006 Dear Mr. Murray: Universal Engineering Sciences, Inc. was retained by Wade Jurney Homes to provide inspection and testing services during the construction of the Lakewood Park- Lot 0005 - 5303 Humingbird Way. in 7501 Brookline Avenue, Ft. Pierce, Indian River County, FL. We provided materials testing services in an effort to ascertain whether the earthwork and placement of structural fill material for the foundation were performed in general conformance to the approved specifications and HUD guidelines. To the best of our knowledge, the foundation soil bearing capacity was satisfied within the depth tested according to the compaction testing dated 01/2&2020, and meets HUD guidelines. We do not undertake the guarantee of the work, nor do we relieve the contractor of their responsibility to produce a completed project conforming to the project plans and specifications, including any deeper site improvement measures. We appreciate to have had the opportunity to provide material testing services for this project. No organics, deleterious materials or expansive, highly plastic clays were encountered. Notes: In Place Density Testing must be scheduled for stem wall backfill and footings prior to concrete placement. These tests are in addition to the tests performed. Any additional fill placed will require additional testing at standard unit fees. This testing covers the house pad only. Pool and deck areas were not included in this study, these items can only be tested as they are constructed. Please notify us in the event you wish to test pool subgrade and backfill. This test was performed without deviation from ASTM pmcedures. This report shall not be reproduced, except in full, without the written approval of Universal Engineering Sciences.
