As a professional engineer in the State of Florida and the engineer of record of the
above project, I have reviewed the plans of the above project and have concluded that the
additional straps added by the home owner are approved. The home owner slightly changed
the appearance of the roof, but the structural integrity of the roof has not been altered. The
home owner did add straps that were not originally included in the plan, but they do not
affect the structural integrity of the flat roof.
