Subject: SCREEN ROOMS
Mr. Miller,
This is in regards to the screen room we spoke about on the phone and the plans I had emailed you. The contractor
brought in a new plan view and elevation page. He now intends to install kick plate instead of Hardie -board siding &
vinyl siding. The kick plate will extend from the ground up to the chair rail 6'-6" high. The gable will also have kick plate,
and the open area still has no screen. My question is how high can kick plate extend up from the ground. I can't find any
limitations with regards to kick plate, but it seems to me this much kick plate will have an effect on the overall design. If
you could give me some guidance as to whether this is allowed in the screen room section, and if not point out a section
in the manual that prohibits this. Attached is the new plan view and elevation page. Your help with this is greatly
appreciated and again thank you in advance for your time.
