2. REINFORCING STEEL SHALL CONFORM TO A.S.T.M. 615 GRADE 60
3. PIPING TO BE SCHEDULE 40 PVC BEARING NSF APPROVAL.
4. POOLS TO BE CONSTRUCTED ONLY ON CLEAN SAND OR ROCK, SOILS IN FINAL BACKFILL SHALL BE
COMPACTED TO PROVIDE A MINIMUM BEARING CAPACITY OF 1000 PSF. ALL UNSUITABLE MATERIALS SHALL BE
REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH CLEAN SAND PLACED AND COMPACTED IN 12" LIFTS. -
5. ALL BACKFILL SHALL BE PLACED WITH CARE IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT PLUMBING IS NOT DISTURBED. ALL
FILL SHALL BE CLEAN SAND PLACED IN 12" LIFTS AND COMPACTED TO 98% OF MAXIMUM DENSITY.
6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE ANY NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IN ORDER TO PROTECT EXISTING
