CONNECTIONS *ON SITE VENT CONNECTIONS SITE PREPARATION *MISCELLANEOUS DETAILS IF YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE IN A PARK, YOUR HOME SITE WILL BE READY OR BE PREPARED FOR YOUR HOME. IF YOU INTEND TO INSTALL YOUR HOME ON YOUR OWN LOT (NOT IN A PARK), SOME SITE PREPARATION WILL BE NECESSARY. ALL DRAINAGE (AT THE INSTALLATION SITE) MUST BE DIVERTED AWAY FROM THE HOME AND MUST SLOPE A MINIMUM OF 1/2" PER FOOT AWAY FROM THE FOUNDATION OR SKIRTING FOR THE FIRST 10% THE SITE MUST BE GRADED TO PROVIDE FOR STORM RUN-OFF. SPECIAL CARE MUST BE TAKEN WITH THE AREA DIRECTLY BELOW YOUR HOME TO PREVENT WATER FROM PONDING AND/OR PUDDLING UNDER YOUR HOME AND SUPPORTS. IF THE SPACE UNDER THE HOME IS TO BE ENCLOSED WITH SKIRTING OR OTHER MATERIALS, A VAPOR RETARDER (I.E. POLY...) MUST BE INSTALLED TO COVER THE GROUND UNDER THE HOME (SHALL BE 6 MIL.
