When you submit your building permit application for any type of marine construction, you should use the following checklist to determine if your application submittal is complete. Only complete applications can be accepted for processing. " itl"W Y?COMMENT Building Permit 1 You must submit a completed building permit Application application, including all required information and enclosed forms. The application must be signed and notarized. Notice of Commencement 1 A recorded Notice of Commencement for all construction with a value exceeding $2,500 has to be submitted at time of building permit application. Construction Plans 2 sets All proposed construction must be accurately shown on the plans including but not limited to electrical wiring and plumbing. The minimum plot size for these plans is 18 by 24 inches - maximum size is 24 by 36 inches. Both sets must be signed and sealed by a Florida registered engineer or Architect. Army Corps of Engineers When you submit the building pemut application you Permit or Exemption must either have a permit or a permit exemption in writing from the Army Corps of Engineers. Florida Department of 2 When you submit the building permit application, you Regulation (FDEP) Permit must either have a permit or a permit exemption in or Exemption VVV writing from the FDEP. South Florida Water Mana7een istrict Permixemption 2 �Jki If the proposed construction is along the C-23, C-24, or C-25 Canals, you must present a permit or an exemption in writing from the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). Owner Builder Affidavit 1 / V When the application is applied for under the owner/builder provisions of Chapter 489.103(7), F.S. the applicant for this building permit must personally appear to sign the appropriate affidavit. Vegetation Removal Permit 1 / Applies to all residential properties and commercial or industrial properties. When required, one completely filled out vegetation removal application must be submitted, with the building permit application. NOTES Additional information beyond the above checklist maybe required in order to ensure a complete review of your building permit application. All impact fees will have to be paid at the time of permit issuance.
