STEP A:
ATTACH BACK RAIL
1. Deterrnint a place for mounting. Place bottom edge of back rail
just below bottom edge of the home. Tim location must olfersolid
support foracaching and wind load pressure for panels and rails.
2. Keep the back A stxaigbtmid level. Snap a challtline around the
home to guide the top edge of the back rail.
3. Correct screwing or nailing method for backrai]:Start onthe back
side of the home. Position screws or nails in the center of the slot.
Scrod ail to allow for clearance of 1l16° from the back rail
surface. Noce: avoid tiglidy screwing or nailing back rail. A 1116"
clearance allows for normal eap n#on and contraction with
temperature, change. Place a screw or nail's every other slot.
4. Provide a 1/2" gap between each back rail section for normal
thermal expansion.

MOUNT 11CUOM RAIL
1. Gmundprepaxodoc. Prepare'the ground so that is is smooth., free
of loose clumps, clods or protruding obstacles. Guard against
uneven settling of newly excavated ground V mounting the
bottom rail on treated (2'k2") lumber.
2. Mark the ground location directly below the outside, bottom edge
of the home. Use a level or plumb bob to detemvae this location
at each corner.
3. Snap s chalk lime or stretch a nylon string between each comer to
guide the bottom rail.
4. Position the bottom rail with the back leg toward the inside of the
disk line Perltnam
5. Drive ground spikes every 19ioche's:Ttvosets ofholesare provided
in the bottom rail.They amloeated ins de the Cbanaeb and on the
backlog. Ground spikes maybe driven in either bole atintervals of
19 inches.
6. Installation on concrete. Use a 3/4" maonry mail. You may also
dell a hole for a 3/16" trolly srn:w and plastic shave. (Nail and
screw materials are available at most hardware stores.)
